Sally Hansen Nail Polish Strips - Numbskull

I am absolutely loving the Sally Hansen Nail Polish Strips that I am wearing at the moment which are called Numbskull. As you can see from the photos these nail polish strips have skulls and cross bones on them which are super cute. I am drawn to anything with cute little skulls on them. Seriously, I want skulls on my nails, on my clothes and on my accessories. I really don't know why I just love them! I am a major fan of the Sally Hansen Nail Polish Strips - I think they are amazing. I would definitely recommend them.

Barry M Textured Polish - Round 2

I have taken some more detailed photographs of these cute Barry M Textured polishes in Atlantic Road, Ridley Road and Kingsland Road. I really feel that I did not have time to photograph these polishes properly when I published my original post. Hopefully you will be able to see these polishes more clearly from these pictures.

Pastel Fleck Nail Art

As you can see I have decorated my nails with one of my nail art brushes again and thought that this time I would create some fleck nail art with pastel colours. Of course, as I am obsessed with my pastel coloured Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine polishes at the moment I used them!

This colour combination is so pretty. I also tried out some diagonal fleck art on my right hand. Though that was difficult as I was using my left hand.

If you would like to see how I created this nail art design please have a look at my original fleck nail art post: http://scottishstefsnails.blogspot.co.uk/2013/06/fleck-nail-art.html

As always, please let me hear your thoughts on this nail design.

Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine Polish - Round 2

There are a number of polishes that I have posted about previously that I did not have time to photograph properly. Recently I have had more time so I have managed to photograph the polishes at their best. The polishes in this post are Blueberry, Green Berry and Prickly Pear.

I really wanted to show you pictures of these Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine polishes in their full glory because I have noticed that a lot of people have found that they do not apply well. I have had the opposite experience with them and found that they do not streak at all and cover really well. I think the key is to make sure that you don't put too little polish or too much polish on your nails.

Nails Inc's Chelsea Physic Gardens & Royal Botanical Gardens

I have taken some photos of Nails Inc's spring trend shades which are Chelsea Physic Gardens and Royal Botanical Gardens so that you can see how well they apply. They apply smoothly and streak free with full coverage being achieved in two coats of polish.

Here is the link to my original post on these polishes: http://scottishstefsnails.blogspot.co.uk/2013/05/nails-incs-spring-trend-shades.html

Let me know what your think of them now that you can see the polishes more closely!

Tie Dye Nail Art - #1

I have longed for tie dye nails for such a long time and have tried to emulate the look in the past but it has not been very successful. Ok so what I have created is a long way from what I actually would have liked but its quite pretty in its own right.

I painted my nails white and then dabbed pink, purple and turquoise polish on to them randomly with a sponge. I think with this technique if you are using light colours make sure you avoid colours which are a lot darker than the ones you have already used because it can start to look a bit patchy.

I think this design turned out quite well even if it is not true multicoloured tie dye.

Barry M Yellow Topaz Glitter Polish

Barry M Yellow Topaz glitter polish is a unique polish which has something extra special about it. This polish is not just plain gold glitter (already have a bottle of that) which makes it way more exciting. There is an array of different sized glitter particles in this polish ranging from tiny specs to bigger pieces. The smaller glitter particles are plain gold whilst the larger glitter pieces are holographic gold. This really adds something extra to this polish and makes it special.

I have worn it over Barry M's gold Foil Effect nail polish. I think it looks amazing over black polish too.
