Work OOTD

Hey guys!

Sorry again for the rubbish mirror selfie Work OOTD photo! I really wanted to show you my monochrome daisy print dress from Miss Selfridge. I love it so much. It's so pretty and flattering. I featured it in my Fashion & Beauty Hail video and you can probably still buy it online & in store.

It's cool that I can wear this dress to work but if I wanted to wear it on a night out I totally could dress it up a bit.

What do you guys think of it? Do you like skater dresses?

Saturday Night OOTN

I've never actually done an OOTN post or even an OOTD post but I would love to start doing some. On Saturday night it was my lovely friend Hannah's birthday and I decided to wear this bargain Lipsy dress which I bought off eBay!

I had never bought any clothes from
eBay until I started selling my own clothes there. I had seen this Lipsy dress a few years ago but didn't buy it at the time as it was cream and I thought it would get ruined when I was out because it was such a light colour. I searched for it on eBay one day when I was thinking about going out clothes and I managed to buy it for about £13.00 including postage & packaging.

I am now so glad I bought it. I think the tiered fabric is extremely flattering.

Please excuse the rubbish mirror selfie -hopefully I can get someone to take pictures for me in future!

What do you guys think of this dress? Do you like eBay?

Company Magazine Polish

The June 2014 edition of Company magazine is in stores now and they have included two free nail polishes. I thought I should let all of you fellow polish addicts know. Plus it's also an excuse to justify buying the magazine even if you are trying to save money hem hem.

The pink polish is called Lorde and the grey/blue polish is called Sky.

I really like that every month Company includes articles about bloggers and Youtubers. I have noticed that there are usually two or three in every issue which is awesome.

Anyway, I thought I would just give you guys a heads up about June's issue.

Seche Pretty Little Heartbreaker Polish

Finally, I have had the chance to try out some lovely Seche Polish. I stumbled across it in Harvey Nichols in Edinburgh and thought why not try it out. I bought a gorgeous pastel pink polish called Pretty Little Heartbreaker which I am now absolutely addicted to. I really didn't want to remove it from my nails I loved it so much. I was really impressed at how beautifully this polish applied to my nails. The brush works really well with the polish formula which is gel-like. I applied two coats for complete opacity. This polish was so hardwearing and lasted a whole week on my nails without looking shabby. There is something about this pastel pink polish which is just really amazing. I think it has a slight brightness or vibrancy to it that some other pastel polishes lack.

Overall, my first experience with a Seche polish has been great & I would definitely recommend this particular polish as I absolutely adore it!

What do you guys think? Have u ever tried Seche Polish before?

Change My Blog? Yay or Nay?

Hey guys!

Oh dear... It seems for the second time since I started blogging I seem to be pondering changing my blog. I adore nail polish & nail art but I feel a lot of my posts are very repetitive which must be fairly boring to read.

I have tried not to change my blog because I really want it to be as unique and as personal as it can be. On my YouTube channel I make fashion, beauty, lifestyle & nail polish videos and I absolutely LOVE it.

This is where I really need to hear what you guys think! What do you think about me having a fashion, beauty & lifestyle blog featuring a heck of a lot of nail polish posts??

I would really appreciate your thoughts on this issue fellow bloggers & blog enthusiasts!:-)

Essie Polish Haulin!

So, I saw that Essie polishes were included in Boots 3for2 offer online and two of their duo sets caught my eye. I decided to treat myself to these lovely polish duos as we don't have an Essie polish stand in my local Boots store.

I love Essie Nail Polish so much but I usually only get my hands on them at my birthday and at Christmas.

I bought the Twinkle-Belle (mint polish with sparkly polish) set and the Disco Dazzle set(deep blue polish with multicoloured glitter polish).

Of course, I will be doing swatches and reviews of these polishes soon but I thought I would just give you a little sneak peek!

Do you have any of the Essie polish duos? Which are your favourites?

Barry M Silk Effects Polish in Meadow

I absolutely adore Barry M's Silk Effects polishes. They are a lovely fresh take on our beloved pastel nail polish. Barry M's Meadow Silk Effects Polish is a gorgeous shimmery, pastel mint polish. This polish is so pretty when its on the nails. I find myself just wanting to stare at it all day! Not only does it look awesome but the polish itself is such great quality. It is a pleasure to use. The formula is beautiful and it glides onto the nails extremely smoothly with Barry M's perfect brush. For an opaque finish within two coats of polish I highly recommend using a good base coat before applying the polish. I found this polish to be hard wearing and long lasting when worn with a base & top coat.

I think Barry M's Silk Effects Polishes are really awesome and would definitely recommend them for their beauty, quality and great price.

NEW VIDEO: The Get To Know Me Tag

Hey guys!

Rimmel Space Dust Polish in Luna Love

Rimmel's Luna Love Space Dust Nail Polish is a bright pink textured glitter polish. It boasts a stunning formula which is the norm for the Rimmel Space Dust Polishes. I adore the polish formula and brush that you get with this polish-it is just awesome. I love how the polish applies as if it is a metallic polish but dries as a textured glitter polish. Out of all of the Rimmel Space Dust polishes this is probably my least favourite. I think some people will love this polish colour and others won't. I think it looks pretty enough its just not as amazingly stunning as the other polishes from this collection.

If you haven't tried out any of these Space Dust polishes you totally should- I wouldn't be making a fuss about them if they were rubbish!:-)

What do you think of this Rimmel Space Dust Polish in Luna Love? Have you tried any of these polishes before?

Rimmel's Sweetie Crush Fizzy Applelicious Polish

I love Rimmel's Sweetie Crush Fizzy Applelicious Polish because it is a rather unique polish. I don't think I have any other polish quite like it. It is a pastel green, pearlised, sparkly, textured polish. It seems like a totally original combination. I think it looks pretty darn awesome! Not only does this polish look ace but it has a lovely formula that is easy to apply with the wide Rimmel polish brush. Two coats and it is opaque. You could paint it over another polish if you feel that it is a bit sheer although I didn't find that this was necessary. When this polish is dry it looks like you have an amazing pastel green glitter polish on your nails which is also slightly pearlescent. It dries fairly quickly as long as you don't overload your nails with the polish.

I really like this polish. What do you guys think? Have you tried this polish before? Let me know in the comments section!:)

Nails Inc's Bloomsbury Square Glitter Polish

Nails Inc's Bloomsbury Square Purple Glitter Polish is an awesome full coverage glitter polish.  From experience, I have found that Nails Inc make excellent full coverage glitter polishes so I definitely recommend trying out their glitter polishes if you are able to. Bloomsbury Square polish consists of fine purple glitter particles with larger pink glitter particles through out. The combination of these colours gives this polish a great look. Nails Inc's full coverage glitter polishes are awesome because they have a brilliant formula which isn't too thick. The glitter covers your nails really smoothly and in a non-gluggy way. The standard Nails Inc brushes apply the polish wonderfully. My photographs don't do this polish justice at all-it is gorgeous!

What do you guys thinks about this polish? Have you tried any Nails Inc Glitter Polishes before?

Models Own's Artstix Gold Nail Beads

Hey guys! I've got some nail beads to show you today. If you have been reading my blog since last year you will know that I have tried out the pink Models Own Artstix Nail Beads and thought they were great. These gold beads are no different. They are a great price and are not ruined by water or top coat so you can wear them for longer than other nail beads. I have paired these gold beads with black polish. I think if I wore these again I would only cover one nail in the beads. A light sprinkle of these beads might actually look really good against the black polish.

What do you think? Have you tried these Artstix Nail Beads?
