Nails Inc's Winter Lights Royal Avenue Polish

OH MY GOSH. I am in love with Nails Inc's Winter Lights Royal Avenue Polish. It is THE most gorgeous festive polish. It's just amazing. 

It consists of deep red, bright red and golden hexagonal glitter particles. It seems so luxurious. I pained this glitter polish over a black base as I thought it would look stunning.

The formula was fantastic as always. The wife brush applied the glitter well though I did of course have to do a bit of strategic glitter placement.

What are your thoughts on this gorgeous glitter? Will you be wearing it this Christmas?

Models Own's Roxy Disco Pants Polish

Models Own's Roxy Disco Pants Polish is a lovely shimmery deep purple polish. It is great for the festive party season especially if you love dark polish and want something a bit more sparkly.

It's true beauty can't be seen in these photos but it is a really nice polish. The formula is great, it's not too thick and not too thin. It applies nicely and is pretty hard wearing. In general it's just really great.

My Cath Kidston Christmas Mug 2013

Last year I bought this extremely cute Cath Kidston Santa Mug. I love that it has a lovely pastel blue background with different Santa designs all over it. 

I love the size of this mug for my morning cup if peppermint tea. It's so nice to have a cheery christmas mug during the depths of winter. Last year my dad accidentally smashed my mug but luckily I managed to buy a replacement.

Cath Kidston Christmas Stocking

I wanted to really get into the Christmas spirit last year so I bought this awesome Cath Kidston Stocking. I basically bought it to be used as a cute decoration but on Christmas Day I couldn't resist filling it with some presents. It made me feel like a kid again!

It is so adorable I wanted to share it with you guys. I bought it from John Lewis last year but you might be able to find it on eBay or on the Cath Kidston website.

NOTD: Metallic Green with Snowflakes

Ahh I am absolutely in love with my latest NOTD combo. I used Models Own's Paradise Garage Disco Pants Polish and Nails Inc's Kensington Church Street Snowflake polish.

I had so many compliments about my nails at work when wearing this polish. Everyone wanted me to show them my nails. I honestly didn't think that even I would love this nail combo as much as I do.

I know the green polish is a traditional christmas colour and some people might find it boring but I am totally embracing it this year.

What do you guys think of this metallic and snowflake combination? I would love to hear from you!

NOTD: Blue Diamond & Snowflake Polish

I am so glad that I tried out Models Own's gorgeous Diamond Luxe Asscher Blue Polish with Nails Inc's Kensington Church Street Snowflake Polish. I think they look awesome together. It's so nice to wear a bright polish during winter that still has an element of festiveness to it. The Snowflake polish really adds something special and unique.

I will have review posts on both of these polishes up soon.

Nails Inc's Belgrave Square Gold Glitter Polish

I am in total awe of Nails Inc's beautiful Christmas polishes. The first of these new polishes that I tried is Nails Inc's Belgrave Square Gold Glitter polish.

It is a full coverage glitter but I painted it lightly over black polish which I think looks great. The polish consists of gold,bronze and black glitter particles from large hexagonal pieces to tiny specs of glitter.

This polish painted on beautifully with Nails Inc's lovely polish formula and wide brush. The glitter applied really nicely too. 

I love the combination of gold and bronze glitter particles. It's perfect for the party season.

What do you think of this glitter polish? Also, do you like the gorgeous new bottles?

Barry M Fashion Icon Glitterati Polish

Barry M's Fashion Icon Glitterati Polish is a lovely full coverage purple glitter polish. What makes it really lovely is that there are holographic glitter particles throughout which make it really sparkly.

I painted this glitter polish over a purple polish as I felt that it would look better with a coloured base. I think you might need to apply 3 coats if the glitter if you don't do this.

The formula was nice and applied easily. I have a couple of the other polishes from this collection so look forward to trying them out.

Topshop's Boy Next Door Polish

Topshop's Boy Next Door Polish is a lovely duck egg blue colour. I am a total sucker for pastel blue polishes so this was a winner from the off set!

As I am a major Topshop polish fan I couldn't resist this polish. It has a gorgeous formula which is why I love Topshop polish so much. The polish glides on smoothly and effortlessly with the great brush. You only need two coats of polish for complete opacity. It dries pretty quickly and is long lasting too.

Models Owns Paradise Garage Disco Pants Polish

Models Own's Paradise Garage Disco Pants Polish is a gorgeous metallic emerald green polish. This polish looks so amazing once on your nails-it's just beautiful!

The formula is AMAZING. Models Own have done incredibly well at producing a well pigmented, gorgeous, metallic formula. It is the perfect consistency. You only need one coat of this polish for totally covered and opaque nails. It really is that good.

I highly recommend this polish! It is definitely worth buying especially for the festive season.

OOTD #16

Today's outfit of the day features my coral lace skater dress which I have posted about previously and my lovely floral print bomber jacket. Both items are from Boohoo.

This lovely bomber jacket is definitely more of a cardigan for us folks here in Scotland as it is perforated. Therefore, the breeze goes right through it. It's unfortunately too cold to wear it at the moment but I can't wait to get it out next summer. I absolutely love the print and the gorgeous colours used.

NOTD: Green With Gold Glitter

This week I'm wearing such a lovely combination of polish. I literally love it.

I'm wearing Models Own's Diamond Luxe Emerald Green polish with Barry M's Treasure Chest Aquarium polish. I wasn't sure whether I would like wearing this deep emerald green polish but I really like it.

I don't think you can tell how lovely this polish is from the photos which is really annoying. I took photos with and without flash and neither does it justice.
