Pretty NOTD

I was so excited to show you guys the nail polish combination that I'm wearing at the moment that I had to re-jiggle my scheduled posts. 

This gorgeous shimmery green/blue polish is Topshop's Snow Cone. I've painted a coat of Topshop's Sweet Treat Glitter polish on one nail on each hand. 

I think these polishes look great together. I'm so happy with this combination.

Benefit's Cheeky Sweet Spot Box O'Blushes

Benefit's Cheeky Sweet Spot Box O' Blushes is such a cool collection of all of their most popular blushes, bronzers and highlighters. 

I have never tried any Benefit products before but this blush set looked way too good to pass up on. I really want to try something different and I think this may be the way to go. I hope that I will be impressed by these blushes.

Alexa Chung IT

I had pondered whether to buy Alexa Chung's book IT since it was released but never did. I then decided it would be nice to read over christmas and ordered the paperback version.

When it comes to books I am a big biography reader and although this book wasn't exactly a biography I really liked it. I managed to read it in one day! 

Alexa's book contains lots of awesome photography of herself, her friends and mainly people and things that have inspired her style. She accompanies the photographs with her thoughts about fashion and style.

I really liked this book because I can relate to a lot of the things and people who have inspired her especially when she was young like the Spice Girls.

It was a really nice insight into her life and style. Also, if you would like a fairly short enjoyable read about personal style and fashion then this book might be for you.

Ciate Candy Cane Nail Polish House

I bought this very cute Ciate Candy Cane Nail Polish House set before christmas with my Boots points. I think the packaging is extremely cute and the polishes are also super cool.

The polishes are really festive but unfortunately I haven't had time to try them out yet. As soon as I do I will let you guys see them.

Butter London Lillibet's Jubilee Polish

Butter London's Lillibet's Jubilee Polish is a glamorous silver polish. It has a gorgeous metallic shimmer throughout it and also has a cold tone to it.

This polish applied nicely although I would prefer if Butter London made their brushes a little less thin. The formula was lovely and I only needed two coats of this polish for full coverage which was great!

I am a little bit addicted to shimmery metallic polishes at the moment.

Warehouse Gold Chain & Jewel Detail Necklace

Oh gosh, I am rather addicted to beautiful, sparkly statement necklaces. This one is from Watehouse and I love it because there are elements of Art Deco in it. 

I love how pretty it looks when it is on and it's not too heavy which is great. In the right light this necklace is super sparkly. It is so detailed, it's just beautiful!

Orly Nail Polish Haul

I was lucky enough to be given a couple of lovely Orly nail polishes for christmas. I have only tried about three Orly polishes in the past so I was delighted to get these polishes.

There are a couple of amazingly sparkly polishes which I can't wait to try out. I also got a few shimmery polishes as well as a gorgeous bright pink pastel polish.

Nails Inc's Alexa Hearts Nail Polish Collection

Nails Inc's Alexa Hearts Nail Polish Collection was on my Christmas wish list. If you are lucky you could snap it up right now for half price!

This gorgeous polish set comes in a lovely box with a quilted make up bag and a full size emery board. Of course, it also includes six full size bottles of polish. The set includes a star glitter polish, a heart glitter polish, a holographic glitter polish, a navy polish, a lilac polish and a pink cashmere polish.

They are such beautiful polishes I can't wait to try them all!

Ciate Mural Moment Mosaic Polish

How unbelievably cool is this Mosaic Polish? Ciate's Mural Moment Mosaic Polish certainly does create a mosaic look on the nails which I think is great! I've never had another polish like this so I'm extremely happy that I have tried this one.

I have painted this mosaic polish over Nails Inc's gorgeous Winter Lilac polish which I think looks fantastic.

The mosaic polish consists of large and small pale pink, pale blue and cobalt blue matte glitter particles which create the mosaic effect. The mosaic particles are in a clear polish.

The polish applied nicely and I got a great effect with some strategic mosaic particle placement.

I think this polish is pretty cool and would definitely recommend it.

Topshop's Cryogenic Polish

Wow. Topshop's Cryogenic polish is pretty damn awesome. It's a gorgeous smooth silver polish which looks a bit like silver silk on my nails.

The formula of this polish is fantastic. It applied beautifully and I only used one coat of this polish which I think is absolutely incredible. I adore Topshop's nail polish formula and this just reinforced  my love of it. I find that the polish brush is great at applying the polish. It is also extremely hard wearing.

I highly recommend this stunning polish as it is beautiful and amazing quality.

Benefit Fun-Size Flirts Gift Set

I decided to treat myself to Benefit's Fun-Size Flirts Gift Set for Christmas. I managed to get this set with my Boots points-total bonus! I have never tried any Benefit products before so I hope I like them.

These gift sets are so adorable and provide such a wide range of their products to try. I am really looking forward to trying out the primers and mascaras as I have heard they are really good.

Warehouse Jewell Encrusted Statement Necklace

As it is now January I thought we could all do with a bit of sparkle so hopefully I will have lots of pretty posts for you over the next month.

I thought that this gorgeous Jewell Encrusted Statement Necklace from Warehouse was a great sparkly starting point. I love this necklace so much because of how lovely it is. It sits so nicely around the neck and it's not too heavy at all! I think this necklace could totally dress up a casual outfit.
