Essie's Chills & Thrills Polish

Essie's Chills & Thrills Polish is a striking medium blue polish with a matte appearance. I love blue nail polish and I wear it all year round but I think this polish is great for autumn/winter if you still want to wear blue polish.

I love Essie's polish formula. It applies really nicely as the formula is super smooth. I only used two coats of this polish to achieve the look of totally opaque nails. It dries pretty quickly and can last up to a week without chipping

I think Essie's Chills & Thrills polish is awesome. What do you think about this polish?Have you tried this polish before?

Topshop's Heart Of Gold Polish

Topshop's Heart Of Gold Polish is a lovely metallic yellow gold polish. I love a good old metallic gold polish. They are always so pretty and can be used for creating some shimmery nail art.  

Heart Of Gold has a gorgeous smooth and highly pigmented formula which glides on beautifully to the nails. My nails were opaque and totally streak free after two coats of polish which is excellent. I love how fast drying this polish is and it has a super sleek finish. Use a good base and top coat and this polish will last for ages without chipping.

Mindy Kaling "Why Not Me?"

I was so excited when I found out that Mindy Kaling had a new book coming out called "Why Not Me?". I love the lady herself and I read her first book a few months ago and thought it was great. I knew there was high a chance that I would love her new offering. And I did. Actually I loved it so much more than her first book. It is one of the best books I have ever read.

In "Why Not Me?" Mindy shares so many hilarious and interesting stories about herself and her experiences. Just about all of them made me chuckle to myself. I was so interested I just couldn't stop reading. I really do think it was more entertaining than her first book!

There are so many amazing stories in this book that I don't want to spoil for you but there is one in particular about Barack Obama and a member of staff which you have to read. I don't want to go into detail about this story as I think YOU NEED TO READ IT!

I highly recommend this book especially if you watch The Mindy Project. I think you would benefit from knowing what Mindy's speaking voice sounds like.

I give this book 100 marks out of 10-that is how much I loved it. It's definitely one to put on your Christmas list.

Nails Inc's Meadow Bank Gingham Polish

Ooh I have been looking forward to showing you Nails Inc's Meadow Bank Gingham Polish for a while because it is so cool. I mean this looks so awesome right?! I am wearing this polish over Topshop's Green Room and I think the colour combination gives it that extra bit of edge. It's quite a bold, geometric look and thats why I love it. 

This polish is part of the Gingham Collection so it consists of square matte glitter particles of differing sizes. The square particles are white and yellow.

Meadow Bank was lovely to apply but I definitely did some strategic matte glitter particle placement. It dries quickly and if you use a good topcoat will last well.

Overall, I think this is such a unique and versatile polish. If you are looking for something a little bit more unique I would highly recommend this polish.

NOTD: Holographic Pink With Glitter

What do you guys think of this nail polish combination? I'm wearing Color Club's Miss Bliss Holographic Polish together with MAC's Quick Million Glitter Polish. I have been loving wearing holographic and glitter polish at the same time. I think it looks so cool and sparkly.

Nails Inc's Belsize Mews Gingham Polish

Nails Inc's Belsize Mews is a super cool blue  and white matte glitter polish from their Gingham Collection. As this polish creates a gingham effect on the nails the matte glitter particles are square and differing sizes. In this polish the matte square glitter particles are deep blue, medium blue and white.

Polish range. I have painted Belsize Mews over a pink polish and I think that it looks great. 

Belsize Mews has a great formula and it was easy enough to spread the square particles over my nails evenly. Of course I did do a little bit of strategic matte glitter particle placement. This polish dries quite quickly and smoothly which is great!

Overall, I love the effect of Nails Inc's Belsize Mews Gingham polish.

Essie's Serial Shopper Polish

Essie's Serial Shopper Polish is a gorgeous peachy coral shade. I don't own many coral polishes so I like that this one can brighten up my nail polish life with its beauty.

There is something so special about Essie polishes and Serial Shopper just confirmed that notion even more. The formula of Serial Shopper is absolutely lovely and it applies really well to the nails. I found two coats of this polish was enough for my nails to be totally streak free. This polish dries quite fast and easily lasts for a week on my nails.

I definitely think that I will be wearing coral nail polish more often now that I have Serial Shopper in my life.

Karren Brady's Biography

I bought Karren Brady's book Strong Woman: The Truth About Getting To The Top because I think that she is brilliant on The Apprentice. I was so happy that her book was as interesting and insightful as I had hoped that it would be.

Karren writes a lot about her childhood and how she worked her way up the ranks to become a successful business woman. She also gives her thoughts on what you need to do to be successful in business which was really interesting. She does talk about the years she spent working for football clubs but don't be put off-it's actually so cool to find out about it from her perspective.

It is great that she has also written about her early years on The Apprentice and explains some of the behind the scenes details. 

If you are interested in what it takes to become a successful business woman or if you are interested in Karren's life this book is definitely worth reading. I loved it.

Topshop's Old Gal Polish

Topshop's Old Gal Polish is an awesome shade of lavender which I adore. This is one of my all time favourite colours so when I saw this polish I knew I had to purchase it.

Old Gal gets nothing but a glowing review from me. Topshop certainly have not disappointed me. The formula of this polish is amazingly beautiful. It glides onto the nails so smoothly with the excellent brush which makes painting your nails very enjoyable. The polish is also super pigmented and just the right consistency. I used two coats of this polish for total opacity. Old Gal dries really quickly too and is very hard wearing.

Ah I am in awe of this flawless polish. What do you guys think about Topshop's Old Gal Polish? Have you tried Topshop nail polish before? I would love to know what you think! 

NOTD: Holographic Blue With Glitter

I am wearing Color Club's Over The Moon Holographic Blue Polish in this photo with MAC's Special Potion glitter nail polish on one nail. I really love both of these polishes and think that they are both pretty spectacular. I think they make a great polish combo!
