Models Own's Red Carpet GlitterGel Polish

I love Models Own's vibrant and glossy Red Carpet GlitterGel Polish.  Red Carpet is not any ordinary red polish which is why I love it so much. It has a pink tone to it along with gorgeous flakes of iridescent glitter running through it. There is also a very slight golden shimmer to it. 

I found that Red Carpet has a gorgeous formula that is lovely and smooth with an excellent consistency. The pigmentation is fantastic and my nails were completely opaque after two coats of polish. This polish applies beautifully to the nails and the polish brush is really great. Overall, I have been extremely impressed by this polish.

Models Own's Crystal Pink GlitterGel Polish

Models Own's Crystal Pink GlitterGel Polish is a pink toned sheer polish with lots of sparkle throughout. I think that this polish would look awesome over pink polishes. I applied it to my natural nails which I like to hide from public view. In this photo I have used three coats of polish but I know some of you my like your nails to be even sheerer.

Crystal Pink has a really lovely formula which isn't too thick or too thin. As the formal is excellent it glides on to the nails beautifully. It's polish brush is a total winner in my eyes as it applies the polish really well. 

I really like that there is more than one option for how you could wear this nail polish.

Models Own's Starburst GlitterGel Nail Polish

In my opinion Models Own's Starburst GlitterGel Polish is just the kind of black glitter polish us polish lovers have been craving for years. From experience I have found that black glitter polishes tend to be poor quality and just look horrible. 

Models Own seem to have found the perfect formula to pull off this sparkly black polish which really excites me.  Starburst is a very well pigmented black polish which has a gorgeous and evenly distributed flurry of purple and golden shimmer throughout. I only needed two coats of this polish for total opacity. This polish applies beautifully to the nails and I really like the fantastic polish brush. 

I think this is the perfect polish for those of you who would like a more edgy, dark sparkly polish for the festive season.

Models Own's Sheer Sparkle GlitterGel Polish

Models Own's Sheer Sparkle GlitterGel Polish is an awesome sparkly gold polish. What I think is great about this particular polish is that you can wear it as a sheer polish over your natural nails or you can paint it over another polish to add a bit of extra sparkle. I painted it over my natural nails but ended up applying three coats of polish because my natural nails are quite stained. I am not keen on people seeing my natural nails so the next time I wear this polish I will definitely be painting it over another polish. 

Sheer Sparkle has a beautifully smooth formula and a perfect consistency. Even though it is sheer this polish is not thin and watery which is great. I love the polish brush provided.

For those who love the sheer polish look I think this would be a great polish for you. Those of us who tend to hide our natural nails we can still enjoy this gorgeous polish by applying to over another polish to add some sparkle.

Models Own's Petunia Glitz GlitterGel Polish

Models Own's Petunia Glitz GlitterGel Polish is the first polish from the GlitterGel collection that I have tried and I have certainly not been disappointed. It is a gorgeous pink polish with a lovely fine glitter running through it. There are also iridescent glitter flakes throughout this polish which gives it a really unique look. 

Once again I am very impressed with the excellent formula of this polish. It is the perfect consistency. The pigmentation and opacity are first class. You could probably get away with just using one coat of this polish but I'd recommend two. Petunia Glitz glides on to your nails effortlessly with its awesome curved brush. This polish is really hard wearing and lasts well. Models Own have certainly not let us down with this new offering.

I really like this polish as I think it is a great colourful and sparkly polish for the festive season.

Ciate Nail Polish Advent Calendar Day 9

Today's Ciate surprise was a cute little nail file. I would have really liked another cool glitter polish or loose glitter but I can't deny that the nail file is super cute. 

What do you guys think? If you have the advent calendar are you a little disappointed that this year they have added a nail file? 

Ciate Nail Polish Advent Calendar Day 8

Ahhh today's surprise was a very pretty white/iridescent loose glitter. I really love Ciate's loose glitter and I was definitely hoping for a couple in the advent calendar this year. This loose glitter in particular has such a cute name-it's called Chalet Chic. I think that is such a fitting wintery name.

Ciate Nail Polish Advent Calendar Day 7

Ooh today's polish from my Ciate advent calendar was a lovely duck egg blue polish called Ahoy Sailor. I really love this colour-it is honestly one of my top favourite nail polish shades.

What do you guys think about this duck egg blue polish? Have we seen this polish before in a previous Ciate advent calendar? I feel like we maybe have!

Hey guys! The days are flying by and behind the 6th door on my advent calendar I found this pretty polish called Snow Globe. It is an iridescent flake gutter polish which is very reminiscent of the scales on mermaids tails. It is also a very festive glitter polish.

There was a nail treatment called Bloom Boost behind door number five. I have never actually tried a nail treatment before so it will be really cool to try this one. Although, I don't actually know what it will do to my nails so I need to look that up.

I found a polish called Cutie Pie behind door number four today. It is a very pale pink. I love it's name! I definitely think I've come across this polish in my Ciate advent calendars in previous years.

Today in my advent calendar I got a lovely red polish called Pom Pom. I'm looking forward to trying this polish out with yesterday's monochrome Check Mate polish over the top. I think it will look pretty cool.

Ciate Nail Polish Advent Calendar Day 2

Eeek today I received a really cool monochrome matte glitter polish called Check Mate. The matte glitter particles are square which provides a chequered look which I think is super cool. I'm very excited to try this polish out.

Ciate Nail Polish Advent Calendar Day 1

Ahh I can't believe the 1st of December is finally here! I am so excited for the festive season to properly begin. 

The first Ciate polish which was behind door number 1 was Heirloom. I think I may have found this polish in my advent calendar last year too. It is a really pretty copper and metallic shimmery polish which I love.
