Sally Hansen's Nail Polish Strips: Good Genes

Sally Hansen's Good Genes Nail Polish Strips are one of my favourite nail strip designs that I've ever tried. As I'm sure you know by now I adore Sally Hansen's Nail Polish Strips. They are ridiculously amazing for many reasons. The bright blue denim design of Good Genes is so cool I wanted to keep these strips on forever. Although, I eventually had to remove them of course. These strips are an awesome colour and I think they are my favourite denim effect product that I have tried. Sometimes your nails look like denim and sometimes they look like brilliant marbled blue nail art. I really really love this design and I think you guys will too!

The sheer beauty of these strips alone makes me recommend them not to mention how long lasting and hard wearing they are.

Please let me know your thoughts on these!:) have you tried them?

Essie Play Date Polish

I have been a bit overwhelmed lately as I have had a lot going on so I didn't manage to post on Sunday. Therefore, I will be publishing two posts today.

This post is on Essie's Play Date polish which is a lovely pastel purple colour. It's such a great colour because it is not too pink or too blue its just a perfect pastel purple. I absolutely love this polish and had been lusting after it for such a long time. This is probably my favourite pastel purple polish that I have.

I am a major fan of Essie polish for the amazing brush and great formula. This polish definitely has all of those trade mark Essie features. It was so nice to apply and streak free in two coats.

I would definitely recommend this polish. It is now one of my favourites and I'm sure will be my go to polish for a long time. Just thinks how gorgeous this polish will be with some glitter over it? Or with polka dots during spring time? It's awesome!

What do you think? Have you tried this polish? Would love to hear your thoughts :)

Orange & Yellow Polka Dot Nails

I had never tried orange and yellow polish together on my nails so I thought I would give it a go and see how it turned out. I decided to do polka dot nails because they are easy to do and very cute to look at. The orange and yellow polish that I used were both from Topshop. I love the combination of the two colours together. I applied big and little polka dots which I think looks really pretty. I'm pretty impressed by Topshop polishes-they are really good. I will definitely be buying more of them.

What do you think of this colour combination? I'm not sure why I had never thought about trying it before!

Peacock Feather Nail Art

The other day I really wanted to do something different with my nails so I grabbed a nail art brush and started painting. It turned into a design which I have called Peacock Feather nail art. I painted my nails black and let the polish dry for a bit. I then started to paint polish in an outwardly motion from the top right corner of my nail. I did this with various colours and then went back to the corner of my nail and added some white polish. The design is sort of fanned out like a peacock feather pattern would be.

I think I might try this design on top of white polish because the colours will stand out more. I'm not really sure why I chose black polish as my base.

My thumb nail is slightly different to the rest of my nails. Again, I don't really no why!oops!

I would love to hear what you think of my random design!? So please let me know in the comment box below!:-)

Bourjois Turquoise Block Polish

I have been waiting to try Bourjois Turquoise Block nail polish for weeks now and I am so glad I have finally got it. It is an awesome bight mid-turquoise polish which has impressed me so much. The brush has a really long thin handle which I found was easy to use. The brush itself is really wide and short which seems to be the perfect combination for application in one swipe. It's so damn cool! I found the drying time even more impressive. It was totally dry in one minute and you only need one coat of this polish! Seriously, only one coat is needed and there are no streaks or uneven patches. I had hoped this polish would be good but I never thought it would be this good! I love it.

I would definitely recommend this polish especially if you like to slap on some polish while you are on the go. :)

Have you tried this polish? Did you find it was as awesome as I did?

Where Have I Been?

So, I have had to take a little break from posting everyday. I have a lot of things going on at the moment and was a bit overwhelmed. From now on I am aiming to post every Wednesday and Sunday instead of everyday. I knew when I started blogging that I wouldn't be able to put a new post up everyday for the rest of my blogging time. I haven't had much time to read all of my favourite blogs so I need to try and fit that in again too. I was also nominated for another two Liebster awards and also a versatile blogger award. I really appreciated being nominate for those so I will hopefully get a chance to do those at some point. Some lovely girls nominated me so I want them to know I haven't forgotten to write those posts.

I've got lots of polishes to write about so hopefully there will be lots of interesting posts coming from me soon!

Thanks for following:) xxx
