My house has been in desperate need of redecoration and renovation for a very long time. It seems like we are finally getting round to doing it though it takes a lot of energy to keep everyone focused on the end goal.
Recently we have been going round furniture shops for inspiration and to see if there is anything that we would like for house. The bathrooms need to be done first and we have also decided that it's about time I had a nice bedroom.
We have been generally having a look in shops as every single room in my house needs to be done apart from our kitchen which we luckily got redone a few years ago.
We won't have room for a massive sofa however the red one in the photos below would be my dream sofa (if it was black!). I absolutely love these modern bedside table lamps but I'm a bit worried about how easy they are to clean. I also have my heart set on getting this jewelled curtain pole-I NEED to get sparkle into my room! I have also had my eye on this Kylie Minogue bedding.
Have any of you been redecorating recently? Have you found any amazing homeware items? I would love to hear your thoughts!
Usually I wear Lancome's Definicils mascara to create my trademark 1960's doll-like lash look. However, recently I have been turning to my emergency mascara which is Benefit's They're Real Mascara.
It is my emergency mascara because I know I can apply it fairly quickly and it doesn't take too long to dry. I also know that I am guaranteed to have NO panda eyes if I wear my trusty They're Real Mascara.
I have started to fall in love with how thick and long this mascara makes my lashes look and am slightly edging away from my usual 1960's look.
I would highly recommend trying this mascara out especially since it's so hard to find mascara that doesn't give you panda eyes! However, if you don't like the spider leg lash look then you probably won't like this mascara.
Overall, I really love Benefit's They're Real Mascara and will continue to wear it and always have a bottle at the ready just incase!
Have you tried Benefit's They're Real Mascara? What did you think of it? I love to hear from you guys!
My friend got married a few weeks ago and I wore a blue dress to the wedding. So, of course I matched my nail polish to my dress.
I wore Topshop's Celestial polish which is a gorgeous blue shade with one coat of Topshop's Razzmatazz glitter polish over the top. I absolutely loved this combination and really didn't want to clean it off at all. I felt like I had the perfect polish for the occasion.
What do you guys think? Do you like this polish combination? Let me know what you think in the comments section!
A few weeks ago I attended my Lovely friend Therese's wedding and I bought this blue floral dress specially for it.
The dress is from ASOS and my necklace is from Boohoo. I think they went perfectly together. I am so glad I bought a skater dress as I felt really comfortable in it which made the wedding extra enjoyable as I wasn't worrying about being uncomfy.
What do you guys think about my outfit? Do you like the sparky blue necklace that I have teamed with the dress?
I have found some absolutely gorgeous clothing in H&M recently so I thought I would create a look book. Now, this is only my second look book so it's not perfect or amazingly professional but I think it lets you see the clothes properly.
What else can I say about my Models Own Nail Polish collection apart from I LOVE MODELS OWN!!!
I have loved Models Own's nail polish for years but I feel like they just keep getting better. With their excellent polish formula and innovative ideas for their polish collections they have fast become my favourite nail polish brand.
When I was photographing my collection I realised just how many of their polishes I would class as my favourite polishes ever. The Polish For Tans collection is one of them.
Are you a huge fan of Models Own Polishes just like me? Do you have a favourite polish or collection? Leave me a comment & let me know what you think?
I have added four new AMAZING Mia Felce phone cases to my collection making a grand total of six. If I could I would buy everything on Mia's website- I really love her designs. I hope that by the end of the year I will have added a couple more of her phone cases to my collection.
I have been changing my cases every few days or everyday depending on my mood so I can make use of all of these gorgeous designs. I definitely cannot pick a favourite!
What do you guys think of my brand new Mia Felce phone cases? Do you have a favourite out of these four designs? Let me know your thoughts!
Of course, I just HAD to purchase another phone case for my new iPhone! This one is by Skinny Dip and I just couldn't turn down these adorable golden flamingos. My mum was originally the person who said "you need to buy that!". I am so glad now that I did.
The case is so beautifully smooth that you just keep wanting to hold or should I say stroke your phone. It makes it feel really sleek and slim. Not to mention it has the most adorable design. There is nothing to dislike about it.
I have a feeling that my new found love is phone cases so watch this space-there may be more pretty phone case related posts in future.
What do you guys think about this Skinny Dip phone case? Do you have a favourite phone case right now? Let me know what it is!
I have another gorgeous statement necklace from Boohoo to show you today. Yes this Boohoo Pink Stone Necklace is in the same style as my Turquoise one but I couldn't resist buying it.
It is just such a gorgeous colour and I don't have many colourful necklaces in my collection so I felt it was a great purchase. Like the Turquoise necklace, I love that this pink necklace has some subtle sparkle on it. It is so pretty when it's on that I couldn't be happier with it.
I definitely recommend checking out Boohoo's necklaces are they have some amazing ones for great prices.
What do you guys think of my Boohoo pink stone necklace? Do you have any favourite statement necklaces at the moment? I'd love to hear from you!
I feel like this NOTD combination is quite unusual but works really well. I am wearing Essie's Chillato polish which is a very pale pastel green colour. On one of my nails I am wearing Nails Inc's Beaumont Mews Dotty Polish which I think looks really great with Essie's Chillato.
What do you guys think about this polish combination? Do you like Essie's Chillato polish? Let me know your thoughts!
I have been really enjoying wearing this orange skater dress from Boohoo lately. It is a fairly different colour for me to wear just because I have never come across any orange dresses that I actually liked before.
I have teamed this dress with a yellow. sparkly necklace from Warehouse which I think looks great.
It has been awesome to wear this dress to work as it just brightens up the place a bit. I loved pairing it with my bright orange nail polish.
What do you guys think of my orange skater dress from Boohoo? Are you enjoying wearing bright colours at the moment? I love hearing your thoughts!
