Topshop's Sweetie Belle Nail Polish

Topshop's Sweetie Belle is a gorgeous lilac polish with a gold shimmer running through it. This polish can look quite pink in some lights but it is still just as lovely.

Topshop are seriously on top of their polish game right now!

This polish was lovely to apply and the formula was great. I needed three light to medium coats of this polish for full opacity as this Polish was slightly more sheer. The brush as always was fantastic. It dried quickly and as with all of Topshop's polishes was long lasting.

I think this is such a pretty polish! It's such a beautiful polish to have as we leave winter behind.

What do you guys think about Topshop's Sweetie Belle polish? Do you like the shimmer through it?

Archived: Interview With Chelsea From Chelseapotter.co.uk

Once again I am really excited for you to read an interview that I did with the lovely Chelsea from Chelseapotter.co.uk. You should definitely go and check out her blog here http://chelseapotter.co.uk/ .

I loved reading Chelsea's answers and I'm sure you will too so here they are!

1)Do you have a favourite nail polish at the moment?

Nail polish is my thing. I wanted to be a nail technician as a teenager
so i own a lot, choosing a favourite is quite difficult. If i had to
choose though the polish i'm wearing the most right now is Rimmel Salon
Pro in urban purple.

2)When did you start writing your blog?

Chelseapotter.co.uk was born a year and a half ago but it became the
beauty, fashion and lifestyle blog you see now in January 2015.

3)What made you decide to start your own blog?

I've bloggged for brands previously as part of my job but i wanted to
create my own voice where i could share what i was passionate about. In
January i finally took the plunge and i'm so glad i did.

4)Would you like to make YouTube videos in the future?

I've been toying with this idea for ages now. I watch so many vlogs so
it seems like a natural step. I did actually film some secret footage a
while back but i don't think i'm ready for this right now. Plus it's
hard devoting enough time to your blog while working full time, having a
home and a partner. I need time to sleep ha.

5)What are the things that you love the most about blogging?

I love being able to express myself. The freedom of speech is priceless
and being able to share my interests with like-minded people is so
rewarding.

6)Which beauty products have you been buying recently?

What haven't i bought ha. I recently bought the Real Technique core
brush set and the L'Oreal Infallible Matte foundation. The brushes have
changed my life so much there's a very excitable post coming on my blog
next week. I wanted to try the foundation because it looks incredible
and i still haven't found a fab foundation i never want to be apart
from. There's a review coming soon for that too. I justify by shopping
issues with reviews ha.

7)Do you have an item of clothing in your wardrobe that you can't stop wearing?

My H&M jumpers. So pretty and stylish and perfect for the cold weather.

8)Do you have a favourite accessory right now?

At the moment i'm loving scarves. I went through a phase with plain tops
and scarves when i was younger and now it's so cold i'm reliving it. I
also love oversized rings.

9)Which item of make up can you not live without?

Rimmel Stay Matte powder. Never found anything that compares.

10)Are there any specific brands of make up that you love?

Max Factor, Rimmel and Revlon. All purse friendly and have some great
products. I love Max Factor's 33 in 1 foundation - i just keep coming
back to it.

11)Which kind of blog posts do you enjoy writing the most?

Funny lifestyle posts. I love posts like my 27 struggles only a uni
student would understand. -
http://chelseapotter.co.uk/27-struggles-only-a-uni-student-would-know/

12)Do you have any beauty essentials?

Concealer. I literally can't live without it. My face concealer differs
but i still love Collection's Lasting Perfection concealer for under the
eyes.

13)Which high street shops are you loving at the moment?

Always H&M, River Island and Primark.

14)Are there any songs that you can't stop listening too right now?

The Kanye one about Nori. Never been a fan of him before but i've become
too attached to this song.

15)What are your favourite TV shows just now?

Tia & Tamera - Remember Sister Sister they are married wit kids now. I
can't stop watching this programme. Also really excited for the
Kardashians new series. I love these reality type shows i think that's
why i watch too many vlogs.

Chelsea gave some really great answers there so I would like to say a huge thank you to her for taking part. I had so much fun writing those questions for Chelsea and reading her answers!

Archived: Interview With Kimberley From Kimberley's Beauty Blog

I have decided to start a blog series where each week I feature one great blogger and/or YouTuber. I am so excited for you all to read the interviews and find out about some of my favourite bloggers who are also extremely lovely girls.

First up, we have Kimberley who has a gorgeous blog and some great YouTube videos. You can checkout her blog here http://www.kimberleysbeautyblog.com and her YouTube channel here https://www.youtube.com/user/KimberleysBeauty . She is an absolutely awesome girl so go and say hi to her. You can find the rest of her social media links at the end of this post.

1)Do you have a favourite shade or favourite brand of nail polish at the moment?

My favourite brand of nail polish is Essie. There are a huge variety of shades available, the formula and brush is just right and they are priced reasonably. My all time favourite shade is probably Bahama Mama. It's a rich berry and I reach for it all the time, particularly in Autumn and Winter. My favourite Spring/Summer shade is something more neutral/pink toned like Muchi.

2)How long have you been writing your blog for?

I've had my blog for two and a half years now... the time has flown by so quickly!

3)Are there any blog posts that you would love to write that you have not had the chance to yet?

I would like to write about my Top 5 products across different brands. It's a series I have already started and I would like to do more of.

4)What inspired you to start your blog?

My friends inspired me to start my blog. They used to ask me what products I used for my makeup and hair etc or for tips and encouraged me to put it online. At first I hesitated because I didn't think anyone would be interested in reading it but I gave it a go and was shocked by the amount of readers and comments I got.. I haven't looked back since.

5)Have you got a favourite make up product right now?

Gosh this is a hard one.... If I was to choose just one I'd choose Nars Sheer Glow Foundation. It's a product I discovered last year and I love it because it gives great coverage and a healthy glow to my skin. It also lasts longer than any other foundation I have tried.

6)Have you watched any good films lately that you would recommend?

I haven't actually watched a film for ages because I've been more into watching TV series at the moment.

7)Are there any TV shows that you are addicted to just now?

I'm totally addicted to Pretty Little Liars. It has so many twists and turns I can't switch it off!

8)What are your beauty essentials?

My first beauty essential is my Emma Hardie Cleansing Balm. After using this not only is my makeup removed but my skin looks healthy. I team this with my Make a Difference moisturiser or Drink it Up Origins face mask which are both staples in my beauty regime.

As for makeup, I would say Nars Sheer Glow is a beauty essential as is a good Mascara like Tarte Lights Camera Lashes or Too Faced Better Than Sex. Mascara instantly makes you look more awake and your eyes bigger so it's a must for me.

9)Do you have a piece of jewellery that you cannot stop wearing?

Yes, my beautiful engagement ring!

10)Which beauty products are on your lust list right now?

There's quite a few which are featured here on my blog (http://www.kimberleysbeautyblog.com/2015/02/beauty-my-current-beauty-wish-list.html) but my top one has got to be the Hourglass Ambient Blush Palette. It contains three large blushes in different shades which look stunning. They would be perfect for Spring and Summer as they also have a little shimmer in them too.

11)Is there anything in your wardrobe that you adore wearing at the moment?

My favourite thing to wear at the moment are skater dresses. The shape suits my figure really well and you can easily throw together an outfit that looks good without having to think about it too much.

12)Are there any high street shops that you have to go in every time you walk past?

I love new look because they have such a great range of products at afforable prices. Everytime I go in there I never fail to find something I like.

Lush is also another shop I always go in. I love that they have some products that are available all year round which become favourites and also limited edition ranges- they are always very tempting.

13)Do you have any hair styling tools that you use all of the time?

My most used styling tools are my GHD straighteners and the Babyliss Waving Wand. Most mornings I will be reaching for one of these.

14)What do you enjoy most about blogging?

I love that blogging has introduced me to lots of new brands I never knew even existed before. There's nothing better than finding an amazing new product and being about to share it with your readers. I also love attending product launches as you can find out so much information and meet new people. I have made a lot of lovely friends through blogging who I never would have met if I hadn't started.

15)Have you been buying any new beauty products in Boots lately?(I know we all love Boots!)

Yes! The latest edition to my makeup collection has been the Rimmel Stay Matte Translucent Powder. I've seen people rave about it for years so thought it was about time I gave it a go.

I think Kimberley gave some brilliant answers. It was great fun to think up these questions and to see Kimberley's answers.  I would like to say a massive thank you to Kimberley for taking the time to answer my questions.

Archived: Interview With Chantelle From The Girl In The Tartan Scarf

The second post in my blogger interview series is with Chantelle from The Girl In The Tartan Scarf. Chantelle has a great blog and makes absolutely amazing YouTube videos not to mention she is one of the loveliest girls I have come across in the blogging world. She is also a fellow Scot so I urge you all to check out her blog here http://www.thegirlinthetartanscarf.com  and her youtube channel here https://m.youtube.com/user/girltartanscarf . You will be addicted to her videos I promise!

1) What is your favourite nail polish at the moment?
I am absolutely loving Essie Bordeaux at the moment. I am always drawn to a really dark, deep red nail because I think it's such a classic colour that looks well with basically everything!

2) Why did you start your blog?
I remember reading (and loving) blogs for a really long time and decided after a while that I wanted to create my own little corner on the internet. I really love photography and pretty photos so having a blog allows me to experiment a bit more with photography and of course share my love of fashion and beauty with the world...or anyone who is willing to listen to me really haha!

3) What inspired you to start making YouTube videos?
Again, like blogging I've always loved watching youtube videos! I probably watch more youtube videos than I do TV!! After a year or so of toing and froing I decided to bite the bullet and make my own and here I am a year down the line, and absolutely loving making videos!

4)What do you enjoy most about blogging?
This is an easy one...the people! I've met so many amazing and lovely people through blogging, including you Stef! :) It's just amazing being a part of the blogging community, everyone is just so supportive and lovely and it's amazing to be able to chat to so many of you through social media every day about things we're both passionate about...I love it! :)

5)What do you enjoy most about making YouTube videos?
Again, definitely the people I've met. I genuinely believe I have the loveliest subscribers! There's so many who have been there from day one and haven't missed a video, and always give me a little nudge of support whenever I upload a new video. I also just love sitting down and filming/editing. It might sound weird but I really do feel like I'm talking to everyone rather than just talking to a camera...although at the end of the day I really am just talking to a camera haha!

6)What is your favourite accessory right now?
Hmmm this is a hard one. I'm a big earring person, so I've been really loving a new earring I got from Maria Black. You can buy them separately, which is what I done so I've been wearing it in my right ear. It's in the shape of a wing so it's quite a statement piece but I really love it! :)

7)Which beauty products are you loving at the moment?
Ooooooh you can't ask a beauty hoarder this question it's too hard haha!! If I had to only name a couple (I'd be here all day otherwise) then I'd have to say the Nars All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation. I've been raving about it so much on my youtube channel and blog that everyone is probably sick of me talking about it! I've also been using my Hourglass ambient lighting blush palette almost every single day since I got it and I'm still obsessed with it. I wouldn't even say I'm a big blush person but it's just such a pretty palette. If you're a blush hoarder you definitely NEED this in your life!

8)Are there any high street shops that you are obsessed with right now?
Topshop and Zara will forever be my two favourite high street shops. I always know that if I go into either of them that I will either leave with something or a wish list as long as my arm!

9)What do you love more-footwear or coats/jackets?(I know thats a tough one for you!)
Stef, this has to be the toughest question ever haha! I think I'd have to say coats/jackets! I don't know what it is I just seem to have zero will power when I see a nice jacket or coat...let's be honest I'm probably the same with shoes but probably more so with jackets, I just have no self control!

10)I know you love to bake so what is your favourite thing to bake at the moment?
I've been baking a LOT recently. I don't know why, I think the cold weather brings out my sweet tooth...or that's my excuse anyway. I've been making a lot of banana bread lately. It tastes more of ginger than banana really which is why I think I love it so much. It's been going down well my family and friends who keep requesting me to make it so I must be doing something right!

11) Do you have a favourite TV show on Netflix right now?
I'm watching a few things on Netflix right now, one of them being Gossip Girl. I'm going to miss it when it finishes but I can't wait for it to finish at the same time, because then I can start watching Pretty Little Liars! Now no judgement when I tell you this but another thing I've been loving watching is...Angel and Buffy (hides eyes) haha! I watch at least one episode most days, usually during lunch and my favourite has to be Angel. It's totally taken me back to my youth haha! It's just one of those things you can have on in the background and not need to tune into too much...that's how I justify watching it anyway!

12)Which item of make up can you not stop using?
An item I got recently and have been absolutely loving using is the Body Shop Wonderblur. It's a pore minimising primer that leaves my face feeling SO smooth. I've been using it non stop since I got it!

13)Do you have a favourite song at the moment?
This is an easy one, definitely Uptown Funk! I've been going to Zumba classes and this is one of the tracks that gets played, so every time I hear it now I'm just twitching to pull out some of my Zumba moves haha!

14)How would you describe your style?(I know thats a bit of a cheesy question but I thought it would be fun)
I'd say for the most part I go for a pretty classic look. My wardrobe mainly consists of white, black and grey so for an everyday look you'll see me in black skinny jeans or cropped trousers and a white or grey top with some heeled boots and a smart(ish) coat or a leather jacket. I do try and inject a bit of colour and there, although I'm the type of person who just wears what suits me...I won't jump on a new trend if it's not 'me'. I hope that explains my style a little!

15)Which beauty brand do you think always gets it just right?
The brand that comes straight to mind is Nars. They just always seem to get it right. I have so many Nars products that I love and use almost every day! I got an email alert earlier about some new releases from them and it's taking all of my willpower to not have a browse online...'browsing' never ends well for me!

I would like to say a huge thank you to the lovely Chantelle for taking part in this interview. Her answers are great and I am sure she has made all of you smile. I am absolutely loving publishing this interview series. There are lots more interviews with some excellent bloggers and YouTubers to come.

Archived: Interview With Eden From Edenmarkl.com

Today's interview is with Eden from Edenmarkl.com. A few months ago Eden and I started chatting on twitter about our mutual love for Gossip Girl and a tag video which I had just uploaded. Since then I have discovered that she makes great YouTube videos and is just a great girl in general. You can check out her blog here http://www.edenmarkl.com and her YouTube channel here https://www.youtube.com/user/edennn .  She has also just got an absolutely beautiful wee puppy so you definitely need to go and subscribe to her channel.

1)Which shade/brand of nail polish are you loving at the moment?

Barry M, Gelly Hi-Shine, in shade GNP 10.
This is a nude colour that is so easy to wear!

2)When did you start writing your blog?
Start of December! Around 3 months ago; still a newbie!

3)What inspired you to start a YouTube channel?
I guess cause everyone else seemed to have one I just wanted to be part of it!

4)What are you enjoying most about being a blogger and YouTuber?
I love the blogger community! I don't think you realise that there is such a big community there until you actually start to blog, or at least I didn't! Generally, everyone is so wonderful and supportive - I love it when I get some spare time to just sit and read everyone's blogs and catch up with everything; it's like one giant family.

5)Do you have a favourite item of clothing at the moment?
Silk Shirts! These are my go to thing for both work and day to day wear!
They're so easy to wear and cover up all my sins!

6)Which high street shop can you not resist spending your money in?
Primark! Everything is just such good value for money!
I could literally spend all day in Primark - as long as it wasn't a Saturday!

7)Are there any beauty products that you are obsessed with at the moment?
Collection, Lasting Perfection Concealer!
I have only just jumped on the band wagon for this after hearing so many amazing reviews and I love it! It's also fabulous for contouring - happy days!

8)I know you love Gossip Girl but do you have any other favourite TV shows?
Not religiously. I love a good documentary or 'real life drama'.

9)Have you got any beauty essentials?
Serum!? Does that count!? I just love the way it makes my skin feel and look.
If not, I have to say brow products! At the moment I am using, and loving, the Barry M Brow Kit. This seems to be the cheapest of its kind on the market yet it does exactly what you would want from it.

10)Are there any songs that you just can’t stop listening to right now?
I am loving two songs at the moment! Hoizer - Take Me to Church and Avicii - The Nights.
If you are yet to listen to Hoizer, you have to give them a listen!

11)Have you discovered any new beauty products recently that you love?
Collection, Lasting Perfection Concealer for sure! I still can't believe I am only just trying this!

12)What is your favourite accessory just now?
A statement necklace.
I am quite boring with my fashion sense I think, I like simple and plain clothing so I find a nice, statement necklace is an instant outfit maker!

13)Have you got a favourite item of clothing in your wardrobe?
It used to be a Jack Wills woolen jumper until it got shrunk in the wash *sob*
I guess it would have to be a black, midi, long sleeved dress! Boring, I know; I can literally wear it anywhere and just change what I pair it with! It is so versatile!

14)What is on your lust list?
A rose gold watch, a tablet and also a nice travel suitcase :) (if anyone reading this would like to purchase any of these things for me I would be super grateful and you would have my eternal love in return!)

15)What make up item do you always carry with you?
Mascara! I am terrible for rubbing, touching and playing with my eyes so this is a must for me!
Ah I thought Eden gave some awesome answers.  I want to say a huge thank you to her for taking part. I wouldn't be able to publish these posts if amazing bloggers and YouTubers like Eden didn't spare some of their time to answer my questions. So, thanks so much again Eden! Please go and check out her blog and YouTube channel.

Archived: Interview With Lynsey From Allsorts And Anecdotes

This week I am chatting to Lynsey from Allsorts and Anecdotes. Lynsey is such a lovely blogger & YouTuber not to mention a fellow Scot. She always has THE most kick ass eye liner on and films some of the best tag videos I have come across on YouTube! You can check out Lynsey's blog here http://allsortsandanecdotes.blogspot.... and her main YouTube channel here http://www.youtube.com/user/lynseymacmakeup .  I am a big fan of Lynsey's blog and YouTube content and I think you will be too so go and check her out.

1) Are there any nail polishes that you are loving right now?

I've always been a huge Barry M fan, and I really love the Matte Nail Paint in Waikiki, and the Silk Nail Paint in Blossom at the moment. But my all time favourite polishes are the standard Barry M Nail Paint in Berry Ice Cream (such a pretty pastel lilac!), and the Bourjois 1 Seconde Gel Nail Polish in Turquoise Block - it is just beautiful, and the formula of those polishes is incredible, so opaque and they dry so fast!

2) How long have you been writing your blog for?

I started my blog way back in 2010 or 2011 and only published the odd post every now and again, but I properly got into blogging regularly in 2012. So it's been about three years now, which is crazy!

3) What inspired you to start making YouTube videos?

I actually discovered YouTube before I discovered blogging - I started off watching people like Louise from Sprinkle of Glitter, Fleur de Force, Pixiwoo and Kandee Johnson, and I just loved it.  Initially I watched beauty channels, and then discovered there was a whole world of vlogging to be discovered! I love to talk, and eventually I just bit the bullet and set up my own channel! I got properly into it when I went travelling in 2013, because I wanted to vlog my whole trip to Australia. I'm so glad I did, because I genuinely love making videos - I find the whole process of filming, editing and uploaded the videos so rewarding.

4) Please let us know a bit about your new additional YouTube channel.

Thanks for asking about that!! As I said, I get so much out of YouTube that I decided recently to set up a new channel called The Student Switchboard. I studied my undergrad degree for four years, and then went on to do a Masters, and loved being at University. I felt like I'd picked up quite a lot of useful tips and tricks as a student over the years, and realised that while people do the odd "My Uni Experience" video, there didn't seem to be a channel dedicated to chatting about student life, and giving tips and advice on everything from exam stress and study plans, to group work and making new friends. So I decided to start one!

5) Which TV shows have you been loving recently?

Haha, how long do you have?! Film and TV is a huge focus on my blog and channel, I studied Film and TV at uni and I'm a self-confessed Netflix addict. Recently I've been loving Pretty Little Liars, House, Once Upon a Time and The Office (the US version!), but I'm also rewatching some old favourites like Gilmore Girls and Black Books!

6) Have you watched any films lately that you would recommend to us?

I finally went to see The Theory of Everything last weekend and it was just incredible, Eddie Redmayne was absolutely fantastic, and so was Felicity Jones! So definitely see it if you have the chance. I also watched a Lena Dunham film on Netflix called Tiny Furniture, which is great if you're not long out of university and feeling a bit overwhelmed with life! And I always, always recommend Silver Linings Playbook, to anyone and everyone - it's one of my all-time favourite films!

7) Is there an item of clothing in your wardrobe that you keep reaching for?

Right now I have a black cardigan from the Cameo Rose concession in New Look that I'm wearing over everything!

8) Do you have a favourite accessory at the moment?

I have a thing for foxes, and for Christmas my parents got me a little silver necklace with a fox on it, which I cannot stop wearing!

9) Are there any beauty products that you are lusting after right now?

Always! There are a few bits and pieces from Nars that are firmly on my wishlist at the moment - generally, I'm more of a drugstore makeup girl, but the Nars eyeshadows are just amazing! So a little Nars eyeshadow palette wouldn't go amiss ;)

10) Do you have any beauty essentials?

I'm a big fan of the Origins Drink Up Intensive Overnight mask - it smells incredible and always makes my skin feel amazing. Also, Batiste dry shampoo - the dark brown one - is a life saver for me on second day hair! Lastly, the Bourjois Magic Nail Polish Remover pot totally changed my relationship with nail polish - it's so quick and easy and makes the process of taking off nail polish so much simpler!

11) Have you bought any new items of make up recently?

I'm trying to watch the pennies right now, but I did pick up a couple of pieces from Bourjois in a buy one get one half price offer yesterday! I got the Colorboost Lip Crayon in Proudly Naked, which is absolutely amazing (I love that range!), and the Colorband Eyeshadow Crayon in Rose Fauviste, which is a gorgeous rose gold. I also got the new Maybelline Dream Flawless Nude foundation - I haven't tried it yet, but I'll let you know what I think!

12) You always have awesome eyeliner - do you have any tips?

Aww thank you so much - I do love my winged liner! Honestly, my main tips would be; don't be afraid to go for it - if you're too cautious, your hand is more likely to shake! The worst that can happen is you make a mess and you start again! Speaking of which, do your eye makeup before your base, that way if you do mess up you only have to redo your eyes. And just keep practicing! Like anything, practice really does make perfect - I actually did an eyeliner 101 post recently, talking about this in a bit more depth :)

13) What are your favourite high street shops?

For makeup, Boots and Superdrug (of course!), for clothes H&M and otherwise, I love a browse in Paperchase and Waterstones!

14) Is there one item of make up that you always carry with you?

My Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer comes everywhere with me - I'd be lost without that stuff!!

15) What are your favourite things about being a blogger and YouTuber?

I love that it has taught me so many new skills, and that it gives me a little creative outlet to talk about the things that make me happy, but honestly, my favourite thing is the community! I love to write, and I love to make videos, but the best thing to come out of this is the friendships I've made! I've met so many amazing people, some of whom have become some of my best friends in real life, and others who I talk to in Twitter chats, or in video comments/blog comments, and that just amazes me. It's something I liked the idea of before I started blogging, but I never expected it to have such a huge impact on my life.

Ah Lynsey gave some awesome answers there! I really loved getting to ask her lots of questions. So, thank you so  so much to Lynsey for taking part in this interview-it was great fun. You can find all of Lynsey's links below so go and say hi to her.

Here are all of Lynsey's Links:

Archived: Topshop's Heart Of Gold Nail Polish

Topshop's Heart Of Gold Polish is a lovely metallic yellow gold polish. I love a good old metallic gold polish. They are always so pretty and can be used for creating some shimmery nail art.

Heart Of Gold has a gorgeous smooth and highly pigmented formula which glides on beautifully to the nails. My nails were opaque and totally streak free after two coats of polish which is excellent. I love how fast drying this polish is and it has a super sleek finish. Use a good base and top coat and this polish will last for ages without chipping.

What do you think about Topshop's Heart Of Gold Polish? Are you a fan of metallic nail polish? It would be great to hear your thoughts!

Essie's Sequin Sash Nail Polish

Essie's Sequin Sash Nail Polish is a beautiful pearlised sheer nude polish. This would be the perfect nail polish for someone who is looking for a very subtle nude shimmery finish.

Sequin Sash has a lovely formula which glides onto the nails beautifully with the great brush provided. As this polish is quite sheer I have used three coats of it to try and cover up my natural nails. If you have nice nails and love sheer nail polish then you will probably also love Essie's Sequin Sash. This polish dries quickly and smoothly.

What do you guys think about Essie's Sequin Sash Nail Polish? Are you a fan of sheer nail polish? I'd love to hear your thoughts!

Essie's Bikini With A Martini Nail Polish

Essie's Bikini With A Martini is a lovely pale pink pearlised polish. It is a fairly sheer nail polish so if you are looking for a sheer, elegant finish this might be the one for you.

Bikini With A Martini has a beautifully smooth consistency and applies to the nails effortlessly. The polish brush was great. I applied three coats of this polish because I like to keep my natural nails covered with opaque polishes. However, if you prefer sheer nail polish you probably would only require two coats of this polish.

What are your thoughts on Essie's Bikini With A Martini? Do you prefer sheer polishes? Let me know what you think!

This is the first painting I have done in two years and I am really proud of it. I love the colours and the brushwork and I'm so happy that I finally believe in my painting abilities again. I know it's not a masterpiece but I really appreciate its prettiness. I used acrylic paints to create this colourful art work.

I see this painting as symbolising hope for my creativity and hopefully the beginning of a happy and colourful part of my life.

What do you guys think about my painting? Do you like painting and making things? I'd love to hear your thoughts!

Mia Felce Clutch Bag

I had really wanted one of Mia Felce's super cool clutch bags for months but was trying to resist as I really have way too many handbags. However, I eventually decided that I "needed" to buy one so I chose the bag with one of my favourite prints on it.

The clutch bag I chose is really lovely. It has Mia's print on one side and on the other side there is a bright pink leather section. The grey tassel attached to the zip is really cute too. There is a real professional feel about this clutch bag but I wouldn't have expected anything else. It has been really nicely made.

What do you guys think about my Mia Felce clutch bag? I think it's really cool!

Seventeen's Golden Glitter Nail Polish

Seventeen's Golden Glitter Polish is extremely shiny. It consists of large hexagonal golden glitter particles and a fine golden glitter. If you would like a plain gold glitter polish then this might be one for you.

This polish has a good formula which is not too think or too thin. There is a good glitter to polish ratio and the brush applies the glitter evenly. I found that this polish dries smoothly and fairly quickly. It is pretty hard wearing too.

What do you guys think about Seventeen's Golden Glitter Nail Polish? Have you tried this polish or any of the others from this collection before? I'd love to hear from you!

Laughing At Old Photos Of Myself

How funny are these photos of me from when I was a wee kid?!

Firstly, I think we need to take a moment to appreciate those sparkly faux snakeskin flared trousers! I actually really loved those as they were super comfortable.

Also, remember when we all had colourful clip in hair strands!? I loved that pink one that I am wearing. I also adored my Spice Girl dolls and I actually still have them packed away safely in a box.

I love seeing other peoples photographs so I thought I would share these gems with you guys. We all need a wee trip down memory lane from time to time.

Do you guys have fond memories of growing up in the 1990's? I know some of you will be a lot younger than me but thought you might find these photos interesting/funny!

NOTD:Blue Holo & Glitter

Hey guys! I have been loving wearing this nail polish combo recently. The blue holographic polish is Crystal Baller by Color Club. The glitter is MAC's Tiara On Top Polish.

What do you guys think about this combination? Which nail polish are you loving right now? It would be great to hear from you!

Essie's She's Picture Perfect Nail Polish

Essie's She's Picture Perfect is a beautiful pastel purple polish with a very subtle pink iridescent shimmer through it. Purple/ lilac is one of my favourite shades of nail polish so I really love this polish.

She's Picture Perfect has a fabulously smooth formula which looks beautiful on your nails. It applies effortlessly with its great brush. Two coats of polish made sure that my nails were streak free. I think they look flawless. This polish dries nice and quickly. It also lasted well too.

I would highly recommend this gorgeous Essie polish as it is just so lovely.

What do you guys think about Essie's She's Picture Perfect Nail Polish? Have you tried this particular polish before? Let me know your thoughts!

Essie's Starry Starry Night Nail Polish

I was really excited to try Essie's Starry Starry Night Polish from the Retro Revival Collection and it certainly did not disappoint. It is a gorgeous deep navy blue polish with a fine brighter blue glitter throughout it.

This polish applies beautifully and smoothly to the nails with the lovely brush. The formula and pigmentation is excellent. Only two coats of this polish were needed for totally opaque nails. The consistency of this polish is great and it dries really nicely.

I definitely recommend this polish if you are looking for a navy polish which is a bit more special than just a plain polish shade.

What do you think about Essie's Starry Starry Night Polish? Have you tried this polish already? If you haven't, would you like to try it?

New Mia Felce Art Print

This super cool art print from Mia Felce really sums up how I have felt for the last three years. Whenever my parents asked what I was doing when I was working on my blog or on my own personal goals I always said that I was "building my empire".  I think a lot of us probably feel the same and totally relate to this fun art print.

I decided to buy this art print from Mia to hang in my room to always remind me to keep working hard and building my empire. So, thanks for creating such a cool, fun and relatable piece of art Mia.

I Have Started Painting Again!

I am really excited to share with you guys that I have started painting again. After a 7 year hiatus I originally began painting again in January 2014. However, I didn't have much confidence in my own creative ability anymore so I gave up the hobby once again.

Over the last few years my confidence has grown and finally I have returned to painting. I am definitely an artist at heart so to have ditched my creativity for so long seems ridiculous. I am absolutely loving the freedom and therapeutic nature of painting again. I feel like maybe painting was what I was meant to do with my life so fingers crossed.

Here are a few of the paintings that I created back in 2014. When I wrote about these at the time you guys seemed to really like them so thank you for your support.

Which is your favourite painting that I did back in 2014?

Dior's State Of Gold Nail Polish

Dior's State Of Gold Polish is an awesome golden glitter which I applied over Dior's Gris-Or Polish. I photographed it with a flash and also in natural daylight.

State Of Gold applied really well to the nails and has a good balance between glitter and polish. The consistency of this polish is really nice too. The brush applied the glitter pretty evenly which was great and it dried smoothly. Overall, this is a really lovely polish.

What are your thoughts on Dior's State Of Gold Glitter Polish? Do you have this polish? It would be great to hear what you think!

Dior's Gris-Or Nail Polish

Dior's Gris-Or Nail Polish is a lovely metallic, shimmery champagne shade. I haven't tried many Dior Nail polishes but I thought this one was really nice.

Gris-Or applied really nicely to my nails with its great polish brush. I was fairly impressed with the formula of this polish as it was a great consistency and had good pigmentation. I only had to apply two coats of this polish for totally opaque nails. It dries rather quickly too.

What do you guys think about Dior's Gris-Or Nail Polish? Have you tried this polish or any other Dior Polishes? I'd love to know what you think!
