Barry M's Treasure Chest Aquarium Polish

The final polish from Barry M'sAquarium  collection is called Treasure Chest. This polish is a really pretty gold and pink glitter flake polish which again give an almost scaly effect. I think the look this polish gives is pretty cool and it totally adds to the aquarium theme.

It was nice to apply and looks great over the other Aquarium polishes. The formula & brush were great too. I really love Barry M glitter polishes! I would definitely recommend trying them.

I found this polish really difficult to photograph as I felt that it just didn't look as good in photos as it did in real life.

What are your thoughts on this polish and even the Aquarium collection as a whole? I would love to hear from you!

Barry M's Pacific Aquarium Polish

Here is the 5th instalment of the Barry M Aquarium Polish series. Today's post is on Barry M's Pacific Aquarium Polish. It is a lovely deep blue/turquoise shimmery and metallic polish. Like all of the other polishes from collection this one is really pretty and definitely a great summer polish.

This polish was a total dream to apply. I painted on two coats of polish for perfect coverage. I find the Barry M polish brush is really good for applying this polish. It has a great formula so I'd definitely recommend it!

Have you tried this polish? What do you think if shimmery & metallic polishes?

Barry M's Caspian Aquarium Polish

Here is Barry M's lovely Caspian Aquarium Polish. It's an awesome gold shimmery polish with pink tones. This polish kind of changes colour depending on which angle the light hits it which is pretty cool.

Caspian is just as beautiful to apply as the other polishes from this collection. It has a great formula and an awesome brush. Plus it has great staying power & it is a bargain price. There's really nothing not to love about it.

Have you tried this polish or any of the polishes from this collection? Let me know what you think!:)

Barry M's Mermaid Aquarium Polish

Hey guys! How pretty is Barry M's Mermaid Aquarium Glitter Polish? I have worn it over Barry M's Caspian polish which I will feature in tomorrow's post. I think this polish combination looks awesome. Mermaid is a glitter polish where the glitter particles are more like scales. This glitter does look rather aquatic.

It's a winner in my opinion as it is gorgeous and applies really nicely. As with most glitter polishes I did place the glitter flakes strategically. The formula and brush were up to the normal standard for the fantastic Barry M which was great!

Let me know your thoughts on this lovely Barry M polish! I love hearing from you!

Barry M's Arabian Aquarium Polish

The second polish that I tried from Barry M's Aquamarine collection is called Arabian. Oooh I love this polish! It's just so pretty! This polish is a gorgeous green/emerald colour depending where the light hits your nails. It also has a shimmery, metallic appearance which looks great. There is something quite tropical about it.

I'm really glad that Barry M have brought back shimmery, metallic polish for summer. I do love my bold colours but its nice to mix things up a bit!

As expected, the polish formula is awesome and the brush applies the polish perfectly. It dries really quickly and is hard wearing as Barry M polishes are usually.

I'd say its definitely worth purchasing & it certainly doesn't break the bank.

Have you tried this polish or any of the polishes from the Aquamarine collection? I would love to hear your thoughts!

Barry M's Mediterranean Aquarium Polish

This week I'm going to show you Barry M's lovely Aquarium Polish collection. Today's featured polish is called Mediterranean and its a gorgeous shimmery, metallic, golden and bronze polish with a pink tone when the light hits it at certain angles.

This polish is really pretty and rather aquatic indeed. I love how unique it is. I just kept looking at the shimmery, colour changing awesomeness of this polish when it was on my nails. It's definitely a great summer polish.

Mediterranean has a lovely formula which  applies so nicely to the nails. I love polishes that apply beautifully! The brush is perfect and the quality of this polish is fantastic. As I have said before, Barry M polish is a total bargain. This polish I'd definitely worth trying.

What do you guys think? Have you tried this polish? Let me know what you think in the comments below.

Sunday NOTD

Here are my Sunday NOTD! I painted my nails last night with Models Own's Polish For Tans Shades polish as I'm addicted to bright nail polish right now. I'm not really loving my black nail polish with the pink polka dots as the top coat went a bit weird on those nails. If I have time later in the week I might change my polish. Who knows, this combo might grow on me!

What do you guys think of this combination? Do you like it?

What I Have Been Painting

Recently I have made some time to do some painting. I am really loving how therapeutic it is. I'm wondering why I ever gave it up when I left school. I really wish I had just kept it up.

This painting is oil paint on stretched, framed canvas. It is inspired by the lyrics from Katy Perry's song Roar: "I've got the eye of the tiger, the fighter, dancing through the fire".

I haven't quite finished it yet but I thought I would give you guys a sneak peek at it. I wanted the eye to look symbolic rather than realistic though I'm not sure if I am totally happy with it yet so I might work into it.

What do you guys think of it? Do you like painting too? I hope you like my more personal post guys!:)

Barry M Papaya Gelly Hi-Shine Polish

I can't believe I only just purchased Barry M's Papaya Gelly Hi-Shine polish as I love it's gorgeous peachy colour.  I had been trying to resist it since last year but I finally shelled out the extremely high amount of £3.99 to buy it. Hem hem. It was definitely a worthwhile purchase.

I think it is the perfect peach polish. It has the amazing Gelly Hi-Shine formula which I really love. Of course it also applies beautifully and Barry M's polish brushes do a great job in this area. This polish is fantastic quality at an awesome price. I definitely recommend this polish.

Have you guys tried Papaya by Barry M? What do you think of it? I'd love to hear your thoughts!

NOTD: Neon Yellow & Glitter Polish

Hey guys!

This week I really wanted to paint my nails with a bright cheery polish so I used my new Models Own Bikini Polish.

I was in a bit of a rush so my nails ended up in a mess. My top coat went all bubbly too but at a glance I'm loving this bright polish. I couldn't resist adding some of my favourite Deborah Lippmann glitter polish to my nails. I am totally hooked on it!:)

What do you guys think about my bright nails? Do you like this combo?:)

Models Own's Polish For Tans

I was so excited that Boots had a 3for2 on because I thought I would be able to buy a few of Models Own's new Polishes For Tan. My local Boots didn't seem to stock them at all and most of then were totally sold out online. I finally managed to order two though.

I got Shades which is the coral polish and Bikini which is the yellow polish. I love that they are neon pastel polishes. They are bright but still have a pastel tone.

Have any of you tried these polishes? What did you think of them? I'm looking forward to trying them out!:)

Rimmel's Orange Polish By Rita Ora

You may have seen on my YouTube channel that I bought a few of the Rimmel 60 Second Polishes by Rita Ora. This fiery orange colour is called Orgasm (rather inappropriate I know!). It's a perfect bright summer polish and I can't wait to wear it in the height of summer.

This polish applied really nicely as it has a  lovely formula and a great brush. It dried quickly too which is always a major plus! There is nothing bad to say about this polish at all. It is the usual high quality polish that Rimmel provides. I love the cute pictures of Rita on a stamp too.

Have you tried any of Rita Ora's polish collection for Rimmel? What do you think of this colour?

NEW VIDEO: I Love My New Biker Boots

I'm sure you can tell from the title of this post what my new YouTube video is about. Yes, I have a new pair of biker boots and I love them!:-)

It's a really short video but I hope that you enjoy it!:) http://youtu.be/oSZBplWqyEk

Rimmel Sweetie Crush Blueberry Whizz

Rimmel's Sweetie Crush Blueberry Whizz polish is one of my favourite bright textured polishes. It is ridiculously pretty and I think it is a great way to wear blue polish. I love how vibrant the shimmer makes this polish look.

As far as textured polishes go i highly recommend these Rimmel Sweetie Crush polishes. Blueberry Whizz has a lovely smooth shimmery formula which applies amazingly with the awesome brush. I applied two coats for totally covered nails. This polish dries quickly and is quite hard wearing considering you don't add a top coat.

This is definitely a great bright polish for summer with that extra added bit of awesomeness!

Have you guys tried this polish? What do you think of it?

Deborah Lippmann's Happy Birthday Polish

I have been keen to try out a Deborah Lippmann polish for a very long time but at £18.00 per bottle I was totally put off. I also hadn't seen her polishes in any shops in my area. However, I stumbled across a small collection of these polishes in Harvey Nichols in Edinburgh and finally decided to take the plunge and spend my hard earned pennies on a bottle.

I chose the gorgeous Happy Birthday glitter polish. Of course, it was a nightmare to photograph as it is a glitter polish but I tried my best to show you how gorgeous this polish is. It is a total winner for me.

It has a great formula which glides onto the nails smoothly and the brush does its job perfectly. This polish is rather hard wearing and I didn't see any chips. The glitter colour combination is just awesome. It looks extremely pretty.

I have become addicted to wearing this glitter polish over pink polish. I think it looks gorgeous.

Overall, I love this polish but wish it didn't have such a big price tag!

Have any of you tried Deborah Lippmann polish before? What do you think of this polish?
