Sunday NOTD

Hey guys!

This week I decided to paint my nails with a gorgeous bubblegum pink polish by Seche called Pretty Little Heartbreaker. This is probably my favourite pink polish that I own. There is something that is just so perfect about it.

I decided to team it up with Barry M's Diamond glitter polish which I think looks really nice.

What do you guys think of this combination? What are you wearing on your nails this week?

Katy Perry Roar, Hero & Champion Necklaces

I couldn't resist buying this pack of three Katy Perry necklaces as I thought they were extremely cute!

The Roar, Hero and Champion necklaces are all on simple delicate chains. I quite like that there is a silver necklace, a gold necklace and a darker silver necklace in the pack. I love that you can wear all three of these necklaces together at different lengths or just wear one or two of them depending on your mood.

It's also pretty cool that each of these words is featured in Katy's song Roar. It just gives a bit more meaning to these necklaces. This song has personal meaning to me so I think these necklaces are pretty awesome.

What do you think of these necklaces? Have you bought any of Katy's jewellery range?

Leighton Denny Plush Pink Free Polish

Leighton Denny's Pink Plush Polish is a lovely mid-pink shade. I received this polish as a free gift in Julys issue of Harpers Bazaar. It is an amazing free gift!

I really like this polish. The formula was good as it wasn't super thick or too thin either. It was easily applied with the brush which did its job perfectly. I only needed two coats of this polish to provide lovely opaque nails.

The colour is gorgeous and definitely a slightly different shade to the other pink polishes that I own. This was definitely a bargain free gift.

I would definitely recommend trying Leoghton Denny Polish if you are able to.

Did you get one of the free Leighton Denny polishes? What do you think of this one?

OPI's You Are So Outta Lime

Firstly, how amazing is OPI's You Are So Outta Lime polish! I have been looking for a bright pastel green polish for a while and this one just popped out at me whilst on the shelf in John Lewis.

I absolutely adored wearing this polish. My dentist commented on it saying how unusual it was. It is a gorgeous colour.

This polish has a nice formula which lasts really well when worn with a base & top coat. The brush was great at applying the polish. I really can't find anything negative about it.

I am really happy that I stumbled across this polish. It's definitely a strong contender to be one of my favourite polishes.

What do you think of this pastel green polish? Would you wear it?

Barry M Mist Silk Effects Polish

Barry M's Mist Silk Effects Polish is a gorgeous pale pearlised blue colour. I think it is my favourite polish from the Silk Effects collection. It is just such a beautiful colour.

I found that two moderate coats of polish provided the perfect opaque finish. The formula is pretty awesome as is usual with Barry M polish. The brush is great and the polish lasts really well!

This pale pearlised blue Polish is definitely one that I would recommend.

What do you guys think of it? Have you tried it?

Urban Decay Setting Sprays

I have been desperate to get my hands on Urban Decay's Make Up Setting Sprays for a long time and I've finally taken the plunge and bought two of them.

I have purchased the "All Nighter" and "De-Slick" setting sprays and cannot wait to try them out.

There has been so much positive feedback about these setting sprays that I really hope they don't disappoint.

It would be a dream to go a day without my make up looking like it's going to slide off of my face or accidentally smacking myself in the face and removing half of my make up in the process!

Have any of you tried these sprays? How do you find them?

Guest Post: Neon Yellow Polka Dot Nail Art

Sunday NOTD

This week I have decided to paint my nails exclusively with some gorgeous Barry M polishes!

I am really loving pale pastel polishes right now so I chose to wear Barry M's Huckleburry Gelly Hi-Shine polish. It is a lovely pale pastel blue colour. I used Barry M's Silk Effects polish in Mist on one of my nails on each hand. I then also used Barry M's Diamond Glitter polish on the same nail-clearly I can't get through a week without as bit of glitter!

What do you guys think if this combination? Are you loving pale pastel polish right now?

OOTD #6

I thought it was time for another outfit of the day post. I absolutely love this bright pink textured skater dress from H&M. It is so lovely and such a gorgeous colour. I think this dress will be one I keep reaching for again and again.

I teamed it up with my Katy Perry Prism Medallion Necklace from Claire's Accessories.

Are you enjoying wearing brightly coloured clothes at the moment? What is your favourite bold item of clothing right now?

My Second Hand Chanel Sunglasses

My all time favourite sunglasses are my Chanel ones which my mum kindly gave me over ten years ago when she bought new ones. Since the day I got them I have cherished them.

I am not really one to splash put on expensive sunglasses so these were an amazing second hand gift. Especially seeing as at the time I got then I was a young teenager.

My mum had these glasses for quite a few years before passing them on to me so they must be pretty old now. They do have some scratches and one of the legs is a bit wonky but I love them. I think they suite me and even though they are probably not fashionable I still love wearing them. I can't wear heavy sunglasses because the pressure on my sinuses is really horrible so these bad boys are perfect for me even if they are ancient!

Do you have any prized accessories that you have had for years?

Oldies but Goodies

I recently had a major shoe clear out where I managed to set free all of my old scruffy shoes. I decided to keep this pair of Topshop Suede Leopard Print Pixie Boots as they were in great condition and  I have fond memories of wearing them.

I have had them since 2006 which is crazy! I was a teenager and was still at school.

These boots are ridiculously comfortable. They feel like gloves for your feet so I like them too much to give them away.

Do you guys have that one pair of shoes that you can't get rid of? What are they like? I love to hear from you!

Hey guys!

You don't have to be British to do this tag so I tag everyone who would like to do it. Let me know if you do as I would love to watch your video!

Here is my video:) http://youtu.be/Hg4D5tqfNts

Summer Sunshine

Hey guys!

I hope you are all doing well and enjoying summer. There have been one or two really sunny, warm days recently in my part of Scotland and I thought I would share a few photos with you. I think it is quite nice to see different bloggers views. So, here is my view of the world during the summer (when it is actually warm and sunny).

What are you guys enjoying the most about this summer? I would love to hear from you!

NOTW: Pastel Yellow

Hey guys!

This week I am wearing this gorgeous yellow polish from Topshop called Bees Knees. I love pastel yellow polish and just felt like it would be a nice summery choice. Of course I had to add my Deborah Lippmann glitter polish-I am addicted to it!

Unfortunately, I feel like my nails look a bit scruffy when you look at them closely. I guess thats just what happens when you are short of time and a bit distracted when painting your nails! Not ideal!

Do you like wearing yellow nail polish? Which colour of polish are you loving right now?

Bourjois's Meli Melon 1 Second Polish

I have bought another peach nail polish! I have decided that its actually ok to buy several different brands of nail polish in the same colour as I shall use them all. Yes, this is what I tell myself.

I couldn't resist picking up Bourjois's Meli Melon 1 Second Polish. I am so glad I bought it as its reminded me how much I love peach polish.

This polish is a gorgeous colour and has an awesome formula. The brush provides great smooth application and the polish dries quite quickly. It's opaque within two coats. I just love it! It's definitely a polish i would recommend.

What do you think of it? Have you tried this polish before? Do you have a favourite peach polish?
