I had never heard of Project Life Scrapbooking until I saw Lily Pebbles video about her scrapbook. I didn't expect it to be something I would be that interested in but once I saw how cool Lily's scrapbook looked I thought that maybe I could make one for my mums 60th birthday.
I made my dad a collage of family photos which I framed for his 60th birthday so I knew that I needed to make my mum something as equally special for her 60th. Lily's scrapbooking video totally opened my eyes to what would make an amazing present for my mum. So, I need to say a huge thank you to Lily for sharing her hobby with us all!
My mum loves photographs and photo albums but lately we haven't been taking as many photos or printing as many photos as we used to. Therefore, it will be a special scrapbook for the whole family.
My Dad and I have already started taking photos for the scrapbook which we will have to keep as a surprise until next year-please wish us luck! That is going to be very difficult. I have been doing a lot of secret project stuff lately.
I am going to have to try to encourage my Mum to take part in photos with us for the next year. I have decided to tell her that we don't take enough photos so we should really aim to take at least one photo a day. We shall see how that goes!
So far I have been absolutely loving compiling this scrapbook for my Mum. It's so much fun and rather therapeutic to do so I would definitely recommend attempting to keep a scrapbook. You might be surprised how much you enjoy it!
What are your thoughts on making a scrapbook? Would you like to give it a go?
